Sometimes

Sometimes it is hard to see the beauty in this world. Sometimes it seems that there are dark awful horrible clouds covering everything and it's impossible to see any light.

Sometimes you feel betrayed by someone you love and there is no beauty in that. Just ugly darkness. Darkness is cold and overwhelming. It can make you feel lost, small, and vulnerable.

Then you see someone do something that touches you. Someone sharing a love that is so pure: a christlike love. It's so sweet that makes your throat lump up and brings tears to your eyes. Good tears... The kind that don't leave you with a horrible head ache.

That is when you a small glimmer of light. The worlds beauty starts to shine through. It brings a smile to your face; it brings hope.

Seeing the worlds beauty makes the darkness become a little lighter.

At my house lives a Dog.  (named "angel") The thing about Dog is... its hair gets EVERYWHERE. On your clothes, furniture, carpet, floor.... everywhere. It's impossible to completely clean the floor because you turn around and there's always more hair there. Talk about annoying/frustrating/messy. Reasons to not have a dog... they smell, you have to pick up their poop, they shed, you have to bathe them, you have to take them on walks, they bark... loud, you have to feed them, they shed , they lick you after they lick heaven knows what else, and a bunch more reasons. Basically a dog is kind of like a baby that never learns how to talk, or grows spiritually and emotionally, and learns how to feed themselves and use a toilet and become independent. The day I had a baby

Brace yourselves... This is going to be a long one. About 4 weeks before my due date, a friend from church gave me a book about hypnobirthing. If you are planning to give birth naturally, I suggest not trying to cram what would take 9 months to learn into 4 weeks. The book was wonderful. It talks about how birth is a natural, sacred, and beautiful thing. If you are ready to give birth and aren't afraid, there should be no pain. After reading it, I was 100% sure my birth would be a pain free, natural birth. Yeah, my sister and mother said labor was awful but they just don't have as high of a pain tolerance like I did.... Ha. What a silly thought. We had taken a tour of the hospital and my birth plan was all done. We were ready for this baby to come. I had watched dozens of birth videos and cried during every single one. Get ready, Get set...

Alright. It's been a while (yes I know I start every post like this because I am boring and predictable and blah blah blah) but give me a break!!! I just spent the last 3 weeks in THAILAND! (yeah life is hard...)  These were the cuddliest kittens in town! And before that I was graduating and stuff. Proud papa We do everything together... including Graduation And before that I had my senior recital, the musical, and well... life was crazy. Anyway, I want to tell you ALL about my AMAZING adventures in Thailand and give you plenty of details for those of you who want to do it yourselves in the near future.  Oh and the Hubs is coming out with a video about it too. Don't worry... we documented this trip very well.  The days of our trip will be written out as it actually happened.  I tried to keep a journal so basically that's what you're gonna get. Ok. Ready...
